Trinity Music Brixton’s legendary nights in Shoreditch were unique, bringing a perfect blend of roots culture and cutting edge dance music to an eager audience. So the anticipation for their first in 3 years, with the inimitable Tenor Fly, is electric.
Tenor Fly has been a leading luminary in British urban music in a career spanning decades and sub-genres. The voice of The Freestylers ‘B-Boy Stance,’ Pendulum’s ‘Tarantula’ and numerous Congo Natty classics; Fly has been working on new music and touring Europe with Congo Natty Outernational, as well as his own album.
Hylu & Jago, also known as key members of the reggae supergroup OnlyJoe, are the camp's foremost new production and song writing duo. In a nod to Favela Chic Paris, they will be showcasing the talents of their French contemporary, Galak, and onlyjoe sax machine, Papa B.
Profilic vocalist 2 Nice has also been spreading the word, sound and power of his music on stages on the Continent and will also be releasing a new single with Trinity this year.
London Grammar is an act that shows just how diverse Trinity can be without going off-vibe. The trio will be playing atmospheric, raw, soul-folk and emphatically-London sounds from their upcoming debut EP.
El Crisis is a world citizen whose mix of spiritual poetry, rhymes and chants will move you in more ways than one. With DJ support from dubby selectors Lionpulse and DJ Snuff’s hip hop and reggae blends.
