I'll be honest with you. I paid very little attention to individual track names, etc., and all that. Not to deny honor to the various artists whose flavorful tracks provided the meat for this 2-disc release, but Nick Warren's track selection and impeccable mixing created a set of CDs that makes for one solid journey with no break in flow. This is a lush, transcendent experience with heavenly melodies that are gentle but not weak. Warren starts us out with chilled happiness on disc one as laid back beats create a hypnotic groove and musicality seems to call from beyond the veil of time. Then he moves us into higher energy territories that lay out danceworthy beats and textures but lose none of the angelic qualities of the first disc. The textures and beauty just build and build as Warren carries us higher and higher in what can only be described as an ascension by way of electronica. Here is talent. -- review by Kristofer Upjohn
