The Crystal Method - Community Service II (Ultra)

"Well keep your eyes on the road and your hands upon the wheel, yeah," the Crystal Method's "going to the Roadhouse and" they're "gonna have a real good time... let it roll baby roll... all night long." When you throw in a remix as awesome as the Doors "Roadhouse Blues" how can you go wrong? This remix is so fantastic, you can't help but to throw on the repeat button on your stereo and hear it at least one more time. As I reviewed the album I didn't even bother to read the track listings, and this really caught me off guard - my response - I LOVED IT!!! Good job guys, this follow up album to Community Service I is even better than the first. Not only do they have the Doors, they also have a fabulous remix of New Order's "Bizarre Love Triangle" that takes you way back to the old days of great alternative music, and then there's The Smashing Pumpkins 1979 remix, another unexpected twist in this unpredictable mixed CD. Evil Nines "We Have the Energy" is another fantastic track on this must have album. All the tracks are fabulous, with 5 original tracks by the infamous TCM duo, and amazing remixes of all our old favorites, you simply cannot go wrong with this album. It literally has something for everyone and you can rest assured once you pop this in your car or at home, you will have it on repeat for the rest of the night. Scott, Ken: you guys really know how to get our blood pumping and get into that dance mode-Cheers to you-this album is near perfect. -- review by Annalee Stone
