Big and beautiful, as always. DJ Micro is among the best of the trance DJs working today, perhaps the best. He has consistently turned out CDs marked by huge beats, riveting textures and smashing melodies. "Past Present Future Vol. 2" is no exception. The disc starts out strong and stays strong. One of Micro's strongest traits is his avoidance of progressive excess. Too many trance DJs see fit to use a slow build to peak hooks, rendering the first handful of tracks little more than introductory fodder. Not so with DJ Micro. He hits hard right from the start and it stays strong until the end. If you want the true definition of intelligent dance music hooks with melodies bigger than god and the sky itself, then your wanting is at an end.-- review by Kristofer Upjohn
