Stilll Records brings us a solo project by L'Altra member Josehp Costa. It's eclecticism happening all at once. Distinctive electronic rhythms and haunting electronic melodies blend with reserved organic elements in music that avoids ready categorization - great for listeners seeking something different but frustrating for the reviewer! Nonetheless, the complexity of rhythms and instrumentation - and the mesmerizing way in which it all weaves together into a textured whole - make for an engaging listening experience. If music could be a substantial cloud, this would be it. A sense of longing and transcendence into eternity permeates the music while never escaping pinpoint personal feelings and emotional intimacy.
