Sasha has thoroughly proven himself a master of what I like to think of as subtle trance. Perhaps sublime trance would be better. A current trend in trance seems to be the flip-side to the boisterous epic or "uplifting" trance of a decade ago. Here, the euphoria is summoned by an ocean of atmosphere created with an almost spartan gathering of elements. More restraint is displayed here than, say, on something Ferry Corsten might have made a decade ago. Which is slap in the face to neither Corsten or Sasha. Minimalism isn't bad, not when it's done right. Neither is big, in-your-face melody. Sasha simply opts for the former. And the result is buoyant and inspiring. The spaciousness of the sky results in lushness - a vital aspect in good trance. The beats don't hammer, but they deliver the perfect pulse. It's an aura of eternity.-- review by Kristofer Upjohn
