Writers: Music Reviewers
Need to commit to at least one 400-word review per week If you are a music junkie and want to share your love of music through writing, then you've come to the right place! Currently all our writer positions are unpaid, but they are a great addition to your resume and once you've submitted four reviews, you will receive free CDs to write about, and a huge international audience of more than over 250,000 unique monthly readers for your writing. Music reviews should run at least 400 words and display a knowledge of music history and real genre expertise, rather than simply "I like this" or "I hate that." They should be descriptive, informative and have a clear point of view. We prefer to devote the space and time we have to running reviews of music you generally like, in keeping with the positive attitude of our sites.

Writers/Photographers: Event Reviewers
Need to commit to at least one 400-word review per month We are looking for clubhers/ravers/festival lovers who want to to share your love of your scene by writing about it. If you like snapping digital photos too, all the better! Currently all our writer positions are unpaid, but once you've submitted 4 event reviews, you will be considered for "Official" Reviewer status, and may receive guest list or comp entry privledges, along with a huge international audience of more than over 250,000 unique monthly readers for your writing. Event reviews should run at least 400 words and display a knowledge of your scene, clubs, & DJs, rather than simply "I like this" or "I hate that." They should be descriptive, informative and have a clear point of view. We prefer to devote the space and time we have to running reviews of events you generally liked, in keeping with the positive attitude of our sites.

To Apply please send a e-mail to jennifer@raves.com describing your background, along with two recent music-related writing samples (music or event reviews) that are each at least 300 words, and one 300-400 word review of an album or event not in our review archive that would be your first published Raves.com/DJfix.com piece if you are accepted.
