THere are parties that are great and there are parties that are moving...this party moved me.

Best Party ever! October 21, 2004
I have been only to a few parties/raves before, so my perspective may be a bit skewed. Whistle 4 was fucking amazing! I got there at about 9:00 and had to wait inline for will call tickets. Getting in was quick and easy, although my binky was taken away. There was one large Happy Hardcore tent outside, and a smaller DnB tent outside as well. Inside Club Shampoo, there were an additional 4-5 rooms, each featuring a different strain of electronic music. As a rough estimate there were approx. anywhere from 5,000 to 10,000 people. All performances were very good, esp. the Happy Hardcore (I spent most of my time here) tent. Some additional amneties offered by the club included a richly decorated basement, titled the Velvet Underground. The VU was decorated in rich, heavy, red velvet, including velvet couches and chairs, velvet wall hangings, and ornate lamps that kept lighting down to a comfortable tone. Also, in one room a giant water fountain was provided. Here, one could get free water (it took a long time to fill up, but water was $4 a bottle), and also play with the water as one saw fit. Overall, the vibe of the party was very close and intimate, while also hosting 5,000+ attendees. Big thanks go out to all who helped organize this event.
