Tha Menace (Chicago, IL, Lewiston, ME, Orlando, FL)
(Chicago, Electro, Booty, Disco, Tech, Old School, Funk, Hard, Deep, Turntablism)
"Tha Menace" Dennis first began composing, arranging, and engineering his own music in the late 90's. Shortly after his friends Shaggy and Scheib influenced him to begin spinning with them. Tha Menace decided to give it a shot and was hooked after the first mix. Ever since he has been stockpiling his records and mastering his mixes and cuts and has now come into his own as a House Music Phenomenon. In 2004 he attended "full sail" in Orlando, FL and recieved a degree in recording arts and is his way to Chicago to shake up the midwest, but is still holding ties to home via 1Luv and will be back in New England for as many appearances as possible.

Ehren Scheib (Chicago, IL, Lewiston, ME, Orlando, FL)
(Progressive Trance, Deep Trance, Progressive House)
It all started about 7 years ago - 1998. My brother and some of his friends brought me to a "rave" at Bates College. I was only 13 and before this the only EDM I had ever heard was La Bouche.Ladadadadadedada...sorry... Anyway this was my introduction to the underground and I have been drawn to this scene ever since. The next event I attended was "moonJuice". Hell ya! Straight 8 Up productions, the good old days, before Netwerk1. This is when I first saw DJ Micro tear it up! His set was a cross between his "Tech Mix 2.0" and "Tech Mix 2000" cd's, when he used to lay down crazy electro trance breaks I remember telling my best friend Aubin(our own DJ Shaggy) "I want to make people move like this guy!" After this came Newtwerk1 with "Revolution". This was an awesome party as most were, and we got to see RHV make the 5-0 shake their asses. After this party I went and got decks. After this I practiced about 4 hours a day and perfected my style. At this point myself and Aubin began spinning at outdoor events and house parties and shortly after our friends Skittles and Kohaku(then Angeldust) started Drive It Like You Stole It, and we began throwing parties. Our first event was "Unbroken" a celebration of some close friends rehabilitaion. Following this event DILYSI involved themselves in many great events and even a "Big Adventure" of a party. In 2002 I moved on to Orlando to further my dj career and attend school, and by this point I had pumped out a few cd's "Trancelaysion" Vol #'s 1 and 2. While in college I finished "Requiem" a mix dedicated to the lost life of our beloved JT Gregory who had passed tragically around that time. RIP! I returned in 2003 and dropped "Trancelaysion 3.0" and began promoting and spinning throughout New England. This past summer we have started coming together and trying to rebuild the scene up here and I have played a vital role in this by being very heavily involved and founding our weekly at "The Midnight Blues Club". I am now moving on once again to start another chapter and will be residing in Chicago, but at this same time there is a new chapter in Maine being founded right here, with 1Luv. I hope you kids are ready for this, there will be some great events backed by a wonderful promotion team
and wonderful dj's who are all dedicated to this scene for all the right reasons. Much love and respect!
3 DeEP (Flint, MI, Orlando, FL)
(House, Booty, Ghetto, Garage, HHC)
Hit in 1999, when the whole world blew up on EDM. Been producing music for about 5 years. Known mostly for his funky style and crazy mic skillz. Music is my life, without it I would be lost. Just going day by day trying to make crazy kidz smile!
PLUR KiDZ
Joel Downing (Providence, Rhode Island)
(Breaks, House, Trance)
Some people there is just no stopping... some people have a dedication that is relentless... some people pour themselves into the music so much that you cannot help but be sucked in. Joel Downing is one of those people. J O 3 L has been involved in this scene for as long as most can remember. Always having a love for the beat he was pulled in by electronic dance music back in the days of the Mortal Kombat soundtrack [test your might]. But it was not until the Lewiston Civic Center scene took central Maine by storm that he decided to grab up decks himself and give it a go. He started out rocky for the first month or so (as most do) but it was when he met Josh Harps and began spinning with him that his own style took flight. Watching Harps' every move behind the tables inspired him, and gave him the foundation he needed to really get the wheels turning. Under the wing of one of the best around J O 3 L began separating his style from his mentors', as he did need the groundwork, but he refused to follow in someone else's footsteps. After having 3 years of knowledge behind the decks he moved to Rhode Island in 2001 to start going to college at Roger Williams University in Bristol. Bristol itself and surrounding areas were lacking in the scene for the most part, but the college campus was taken by storm upon his arrival. House Parties would never be the same at in the area, and even on the small campus he was known to pack triple figures into an apartment and keep the beats bumping til the sun came up or people with badges came banging down the door. His blatant love for the music and energetic stage presence is always sure to be a crowd pleaser, if not a mind opener. He is only truly alive when the beats are pumping through the speakers and the dance floor is rocking under his reign. With 5 polished CD's under his belt and countless live performances this kid is really reaching his full potential. He has spun throughout Maine, Rhode Island and New York, and pretty much anywhere else in New England you could probably think of... and refuses to stop until he has taken whole country by storm. Now scooped up by One Luv Productions the options are virtually endless, the sky is the limit but he seems confident that he will break even that boundary so keep yours eyes peeled in the New England area because this kids is making his mark.
Shaggy (Maine, Orlando, FL)
(Bangin, Chicago, Disco, Filter, Vocal, Old School, Deep, Turntablism, UC not UK House)
Well, where to start...Lots of old days....Wel shortly after I became a hippy I started listening to...well...different music. House, techno, and well anything with a 4/4 beat that made me feel groovy. First party was crazy, Colin knows all about what I did! After that I was hooked. I got some Gemini's and started spinning. I sucked! All I did was scratch and trainwreck. Well then Scheib showed me how to count beats and it's all history after that. I as well went to Orlando and got a degree in recording arts with Scheib. I love scratching and house, oh yeah, BBB was the man, then he started playing that "new great house". Me, I'm sticking to the basics, the roots, the dope shit you want to hear. That's me.
