"It's not gonna be mixed on turntables. It's gonna be an album of other people's records, but we're going to make our own records out of it. It's gonna be a big CD of remixes." - John Creamer

John Creamer & Stephane K are one of the most unusual pairing of producers I've met, with Creamer's thick outer-borough accent and New York confidence setting off the endearing enthusiasm of the quiet-spoken K. Maybe its part of the chemistry that's responsible for this duo producing and remixing of some of the biggest dance floor hits created within the last two years. From their massive remake of Kosheen's "Hide U," to the brilliantly twisted vocal remix of Satoshi Tomiie's "Love In Traffic" on to their exceptional reworks of Iio's "Rapture," Sinead O'Connor's "Troy" and New Order's "Crystal."

Before they could catalyzing yet another dance floors with their signature caustic mix of tribal dark drums and sexual sounds, we put them up against a wall in their hotel room at the downtown Standard Hotel for a little questioning!
