Mikey Dorje was born in Boulder, Colorado. He moved to Kyoto, Japan with his family when he was nine where he started playing guitar. At fifteen, he moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia where he started producing music on a four track. He now lives in Toronto where, musically he does what he wants and is not bound by trends or genre.
Mikey has composed and produced music for / licensed music to / produced new media audio content for: EMI, Warner, SonyBMG, Universal, Sesame Workshop, McDonalds, Ford, Much Music, CBC, CBS, Bravo!, National Film Board of Canada, Molson Canada, Telus, Future Music Publishing, Chop Wood Films, Richmond Records, Blue Tango Ad Agency and many others.
