Hey yah!!!!! Josh Ohman here to drop some line's i have been into playing records and had a lot of fun listing to my fathers old reel to reel's since i was an early teenager.I didn't really get into mixing records till around 1995.In the start i was more into rap/hip-hop had heard of techno but wasn't a big thing for me at that time, untill i went to my first party in balto/wash d.c area. The party was called eclipse an ultraworld event back in 1995 and any body who live's near Baltimore/d.c knows about Lonnie's one off's.Anyway i started to get a little bit more serious about the d.j. life style when i was around 17 that was back in 1997 and have been doing it ever since. I'm 24 now and i've played at a few partys here and there but really didn't want the whole everybody knows ya or the fish in a fish bowl type stuff. But i got to go to some really cool clubs all over east and west coast never been to parties out-side the u.s.and i've meet some really cool d.j.s like Scott Henery, Charles Feelgood that's a fever/buzz thang also dj Dan dj X-Dream,Dave Ralph (really nice guy's)and a few others in between in my time of going to party's.I've had a really good time and have watched our electronic scean grow & grow here in this country, it's kind of funny to think back to 1995 when your out on a friday or saturday night at parties today another funny thing is no matter where you are the same stuff is going on, you almost forget where you are (OH YEA, THAT'S RIGHT I'M IN HOUSTON I FORGOT).So lately i've been in school i decided to go back to collage but still on my free time away from school /work and friends i buy new records work on my own stuff using my 303/909/keyboards/comp soft and hard ware (cool edit pro's okay i guess), and still find a little time to get my funk off with my tables and trusty pioneer 600.As for now i have so many other things going on in my life, but soon i'll get back into my role (there's a lot of good stuff i've been working on and it's a shame me and my close friend's are the only one's to hear it.So soon i'll be back when i get my degree and back to providing the club go'ers with those gut thumpin house and progressive bass beat's that i rocked so many night's befor,Just think of what new music is in store for the next few years new music new sounds so many options are working. So i would like to give thanks to all the ravers /clubbers for keeping it going (great job guy's & girls have fun who know's what our electronic scean will become in the next few years take care of yourselves and stay musically happy peace DJ JOSH OHMAN
