Dee Jay Clutch
Camille Sevigny, also known as Dee Jay clutch, entered the underground dance music scene in 1998 in Toledo, Ohio just outside of Detroit, Michigan. House music always moved him and when it came time to start buying vinyl, that is what he gravitated towards. His style and skills are always improving, yet never wavering from the house genre. Clutch relocated to Washington D.C. in the spring of 1999. He quickly integrated himself into the underground scene. Currently, Clutch attends the University of Maryland pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering. Between his schoolwork, and day job working for an entertainment company as a DJ, he concentrates on improving his DJ skills. His mixing style and great track selection has made Clutch a sought after DJ for every type of party and event. Dee Jay Clutch blends the funkiest house tracks with hard house and tech-house to create mixes that consistently leave dance floors asking for more. He has been working hard to try and define the harder side of Funky House in DC. Some national DJ's that have influenced his music and DJ style are Bad Boy Bill, DJ Dan, and Feelgood. Watching these particular DJ's spin always inspires him to do his best when it's his turn behind the decks. He founded a radio mix show on 88.1-WMUC FM in College Park, MD in the spring of 1999 called In The Mix. He is currently the host and resident on that show. Dee Jay Clutch has also been heavily involved with the growth of his crew StoneFinger Productions in DC and strives to be an active member of the electronic dance music community whenever possible. Over he past few years Dee Jay Clutch has played along side national and international artists at some of the best venues on the East Coast.
