Too sum it up in 1 word "SEEMLESS" Mikee Mix spends every spare moment on the decks perfecting his craft or at the record stores searching for that perfect beat with the perfect blend of all genres of electronic dance music to serve the crowds need. By 1996 at age 18 Mikee had discovered his perfect beat lost in the Florida underground breakbeat scene, and quickly became a true sonic master creating lush almost delicious breakbeat soundscapes on the dance floor. Word traveled fast and Mikee Mix quickly became a local staple at house parties and Underground events all over the area. When he turned 18 Mikee Mix decided to move to Las Vegas, NV and hit the ground running grabbing coveted bookings at underground events and clubs all over the Southern Nevada and Southern California area where he began being the pioneer of the multi genre dj spinning house, trance, breaks and all in between in 1 memorable performance by making sure there is a lil something for everyone. After a tour of duty appearing in guest spots at many of Las Vegas’s hottest nightclubs including The Beach, Light, C2K, Utopia, and at many lounges and desert festivals Mikee Mix made Club Insomnia his own and took over as resident DJ. He played at Club Insomnia. Mikee was also was the first dj from Florida to play Florida Breaks in Las Vegas so early the people there didn’t quite know what to do at first. But of course after a few gigs the Florida flavor was on the loose leading the way for all the other big name dj’s such as DJ Gumbee and Baby Anne to come out west from Florida and spread the funk. In 2004 Mikee Mix packed p the family and moved back to Sarasota, Florida where since his return he has rocked the houses of some of Florida’s top nightclubs including Club Prana, Club Escapes, Khrome, Club Heat, Octave, and Club X-IT with his magical seamless mixing and 4 turntable chaos that will defiantly send you on a electronic musical trip and will be a show you will not forget.
