Sunset Regime
‘Sunset Regime’ started his music career playing bass guitar in live bands around England. An avid musician he studied drums, keyboards and guitar and it was around the same time he learnt to produce in one of the 48 track studios his group hired. His influences range from a very diverse field: Level42, Bros Johnson for bass; Yello, Chic, and Trevor Horn for production; Thomas Newman, Tangerine Dream for String arrangements / song creativity and Crass for their energy. Over the years he has released over sixty singles with aliases including; 'The Presidents Men' (Strickly Rhythm), 'Antisocial/OMG' (Bonkers, Essential Platinum), and 'The Pumphouse Gang'. He spent most of the nineties recording with Hixxy and Ramos & Supreme and was involved with the labels; Hectic, RSR, Pure Adrenalin and Essential Platinum, which were all pioneers of the Hardcore scene. In 2000 Sunset Regime decided to take a break from the dance industry and traveled abroad to study another passion of his; reptiles and arthropods! This didn't last too long however...he missed his one true love...the beats and the bass! 2003 has seen him return with his partner Supreme to mix up Trance and Hardcore rhythms and create a blend of what he calls; "kick and stab mayhem!"
